You Can Make a Difference
Dyslexia Simulation Volunteer
Become a dyslexia simulation volunteer. This is a great way to teach others what it feels like to be dyslexic in the classroom. We will train you, and you decide when you are available to help run one of the simulations. They take about two hours and are very effective in educating of what it means to be dyslexic.
Library Coordinator
We have partnered with local libraries to celebrate Dyslexia Awareness Month in October. We are looking for a coordinator to work with the library displays.
BVKID has partnered with The Refuge Reads. They have an immediate need for tutors. Please consider volunteering your time to help kids who struggle with reading and have no other resources.
