Peak to Peak's Eye to Eye students are working to "strike out the stigma" of learning differences. Raising awareness through these chalk drawings is one step toward understanding and compassion. People with learning differences (LD) face stigma all the time--whether it’s in school, the workplace, or in life itself. February is Strike Out Stigmonth! Strike Out Stigmonth is a month-long competition between Eye to Eye chapters that is designed to spread LD/ADHD awareness, strengthen bonds between Mentors and Mentees, and connect Eye to Eye chapter members to the national Eye to Eye community-- all the while eliminating the stigma that surrounds LD/ADHD.
